Glenn, I appreciate your analysis of the sophisticated warfare that has enabled Azerbaijan to recapture the occupied territories. However, labeling the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict as a proxy war between Russia and Turkey is misleading. While both countries sell arms to Azerbaijan and Armenia, the history of the conflict and the root of the ethnic strife between Armenians and Azerbaijanis is more than a century old. To label this conflict a proxy war without providing that context is uninformed.
